Today was a nice day. I was able to treat the kids this morning to a nice treat. French toast rolls with chocolate and strawberries.
Al and I did a few errands today. We went to the grocery store and then to Lowe’s. I haven’t been to the grocery store in quiet a while. It was an adventure. It was actually pretty overstimulating. There were arrows on the floors telling you where you could walk and stand. The aisles seemed larger and clearer. There were not a lot of people out. Everyone had their masks on.
It was good to see everyone adhering to the rules. It was tiring paying attention to it all.
We did pass a testing site as well.
Wyatt was tested; just as a precaution. He is negative.
Today was also Memorial Day. We saw this parking spot at Lowe’s.
We went to my dads house for dinner. Lovely to see him as usual. He was in a great mood. It was a nice visit.
I really wanted to give him a hug for Memorial Day but that will need to wait
