A week with Connor....

“There is freedom waiting for you,
On the breezes of the sky,
And you ask "What if I fall?"
Oh but my darling,
What if you fly?”
― Erin Hanson

On Wednesday you worked from 8:00 until 9:00 pm to finalize your first solo of the year. It wasn't done In your mind, it was rushed and last minute and... And... And...

On Thursday you were filled FILLED with fear, self doubt, and fear.  You cried and almost broke... considered giving up.

On Friday you decided you could do it, thanks to a quote you heard in school.
"You must do the things that you think you cannot do" -Eleanor Roosevelt

On Saturday you did it. You. Did. It.

You're amazing. Don't ever doubt yourself.

I love you so much and cannot describe how proud I am of you. Amazing things are in store for you. Just go with it.

In search of adventure

Al and Connor were off at the dance competition today so the girls and I were off in search of adventure. We found ourselves at the American girl store for lunch.

First step: buckle in the dolls for safety!

They were a little excited to be there. :)

With lunch came tiny cups for the dolls.....
and the girls.

Kisses for her special doll....

Kisses..... or face licking!

Dessert was amazing!! (And huge!)

We did a little browsing after out meal. The girls were very excited about the spa set!

We had such a great day! I love hanging out with these special girls!

2015 science fair

Siobhan had her science fair tonight. Although we certainly threw it together at the last minute siobhan did a great job! She used her Goldie blox sets to present about simple machines. She demostrated how a wheel and axle can be used to help pull heavy things. I was so impressed with her and how well she did talking to both the judges as well as  other students who came by to check out her presentation. She was strong and brave and did a wonderful job.

Showing off her participation ribbon.
