Social distancing .... day 89

Thursday. 

Today was another busy day at work. Siobhan also needed some attention and support in engaging in something other than technology. We worked on building a catapult. :)

We will keep working on some non technology fun things. 

We also had our fab fit fun box arrive today!

That was a lot of fun! It’s super exciting to get things in the mail these days. :)

Today there was a moose on the loose in down town Lowell! Just when we think things can’t get crazier. 

It’s also been crazy times for pollen. Siobhan tried a new eye mask today. Let’s see if it helps!

Social distancing ... day 82

Thursday 

Today was, again, a really busy day at work. Trying to wrap up meetings and also get services together for a few students in crisis.  

Aisling took a break from her work today to attempt the Pringle’s challenge. 

... she did not get it. 

We ordered delicious take out from our local sandwich shop. I finally had a chai latte! I’ve been dying for one for months! 

Siobhan washes the dogs today? Totally by herself! I’m pretty impressed with that kid. 

 We are going to march tomorrow. I’m a little worried about the pandemic but I’m hoping we’ll be able to make it work. I don’t think I can just ignore this. 

We also took a walk tonight. It was a lovely night. 

Social distancing .... day 75

Thursday 

San helped with yoga again this morning. 

I also spent a little time outside. Here’s the fairy garden by our fountain. 

Temple university also posted its banner of students for this year. So exciting! 

We ate dinner in the deck and tried a new drink. 

It was a pretty decent day again today. Lots of news about riot in Minneapolis due to the murder of George Floyd. I am waiting for our country to figure this out. It’s so sad. 

Social distancing ... day 68

Thursday. 

March 14-may 21. 

Today I didn’t have much going on at work so I was able to chill out a little and clean the house. 

It was a beautiful day today. The girls did some work outside 

Siobhan also helped me to hang up the hammock. 

Connor also brought the cat to the hammock. 

It’s possible the cat liked it! 

The animals also enjoyed the wonderful outdoor weather!

Siobhan practiced her make up. This time with a stapler. 

Everyone had dance class at the same time today. Aisling ended up outside but said it was actually really breezy! 

I tried a lovely new drink recipe today (this seems to be increasing during this time...) 

We also had another fun game night for cadences birthday! (The computer is not on fire. It’s a candle behind it!) 

Social distancing .... day 62

Thursday 

Today was a long and tiring day. However, there were lots of highlights. 

Work was crazy, but i was able to do some work outside again. The weather was gorgeous. 

We also ate lunch outside together today. 

In fact it was so hot I moved under the umbrella for shade! 

The girls and I got our delivery frkm fab fit fun today! We’ve been waiting for this for a while and we were so Excited. It’s the little things lately 

Aisling had another birthday parade today. Again it was so wonderful to see her so happy again. She misses her friends so very much. 

She worked very hard on a poster for Erin which she decorated with lots of memories and loving facts about Erin. 

Finally we were able to have a fire pit tonight. The weather was perfect. 

Aisling and I had some hard conversations tonight. Girl Scout camp has been cancelled and it was extremely upsetting. Aisling has had so many things cancelled. It’s really hard. She had a rough day today. Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully she will be feeling better. 

Social distancing ... day 55 birthday edition!

Thursday 

I looked it up. It’s 55 days. I don’t know how Imessed 

That all up! 

Today was siobhans 12th birthday. We tried really really hard to make it special during this social distancing time and I hope we were successful. :) 

The day was a pretty typical (for this time) day. It was wear your camp shirt day at camp runels. So that drove our dress code. 

Siobhan has a belly ache for most of the day. I think she had some anxiety of having a birthday in quarantine. But she could describe what was going on. 

We had lunch out today, and Siobhan was able to have a first come! She’s been asking for Diet Coke daily so today was special lol! 

At 3:00 we had a surprise parade for her birthday. She was very surprised! It was amazing and we appreciate everyone who came to make her day special!!

After that we had dinner and gifts and cake. 

Aisling made the cake. It was so good! I forgot to take a picture of the whole thing. But it had strawberries and had strawberry jam in the middle. So yum. 

She’s a little spoiled; but we’re hoping everything keeps her entertained for a while, since we don’t really know what the summer will look like. 

We also got a gift for the cat. Although I’m not sure the cat understands. Siobhan has been taking the take outside, so we got a harness and leash. We’ll see if the cat likes it lol! 

A bunch of friends came to the parade from RDA. While they were all visiting they realized they had missed clsss. Their teacher made them do their warm up right there. It was hysterical

Overall a really fantastic and fun day. It was a joy to see siobhan get so happy. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in her life.
