Social distancing... day 121

Sunday

We had a lovely dinner with poppy again today. We didn’t see him last week because he was in the hospital. But he looked great today.

Connors dorm housing is once again up in the air. It seems the dorms he was going to be assigned are going to be saved for covid-19 students. So now we wait and see what his housing situation will be. It’s a frustrating situation.

We’ve also started the process of enrolling siobhan in an online school program. I’m not completely comfortable sending her back and wanted to see what else was out there. We will make the final decision when we know more about offerings for next year but it feels really helpful to have a plan.

Social distancing.... day 115

Monday

We’ve had a few days lately. We’ve been working on some home renovations  and celebrated the fourth.

We’ve been working on adding a bar to our den.

We also celebrated the Fourth of July with some fun times! We watched Hamilton on a tv that we put outside. It was so fun.

Social distancing ....day 107

Tuesday

I did a ton of painting today. I finished the first coat in the den. It’s exciting to be almost done!

They came out great!

Today was also the first day in Massachusetts where there were no deaths of covid. Massachusetts is doing well. Other states are not however. We keep at it and continue to hope for the best.

Social distancing..... day 105

Sunday

Sadly we packed up and left the lake today. All good things must end I suppose.
Siobhan took some awesome pictures of a very happy looking sam. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1jeCqPnpJbdQKIRm07opXB4JsRP3CypdBhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1WUJinLYFIOeXe7WSrILYCb_5xLgd7rbihttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1AeeBJiWZFSpM8CxoMNq6Zt8FSrEkp69s

We did stop at my dads house for our weekly socially distant dinner.

He even took his walked out to get a little walk in. It just so happened that the sky opened as he got a little drenched!

Social distancing.... day 104

Saturday

We were all exhausted today! We slept really late. Just had a pretty chill day at the lake. However we did do some tie dye.

Social distancing.... day 103

Friday

Another beautiful day at the lake. Today connor and abby drove here to join us. We had a blast with them here. We played a lot of games today and hung out enjoying each other’s company.

We also took a little adventure to get some ice cream. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1eMNCr4NKaorkjvRWTGynAKGAxhdhkRtWhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1UJ3OQ61ftC3Cb_vudbrbSKOTZS1O8zYm
Social distancing enforced and masks required of course.

Today we also learned that an uncle of mine who had a stroke last week has been moved to hospice care. It’s terrible to think that our family, and my dad especially, won’t have an opportunity today good bye as they would under normal circumstances. I hope that the family is able to find some way to celebrate his life and have closure even among this pandemic.
