Social distancing..... day 105

Sunday 

Sadly we packed up and left the lake today. All good things must end I suppose. 

Siobhan took some awesome pictures of a very happy looking sam. 

We did stop at my dads house for our weekly socially distant dinner. 

He even took his walked out to get a little walk in. It just so happened that the sky opened as he got a little drenched! 

He seems welll. We’re lucky to be able to see him each week.

Wednesday. 

Another wonderful day at the lake. 

We also had Aislings dance “recital” 

While it was not what we had hoped for, it was great!! A wonderful showcase of all their hard work!

Tuesday 

A day at the lake house. 

It’s been such a lovely day. It’s honestly easy to forget the turmoil going on. I hope we don’t get too forgetful and make mistakes in our judgement.

Sunday

We did some work in the den today to prepare for building a bar in the den. 

In the process I found some old pictures!

We had our usual Sunday dinner with poppy. 

We also watched the senior awards. Connor didn’t earn any senior awards but they showed his picture for student of the month in February. Poppy was thrilled to see that!

Saturday 

Siobahn continued her streak of artwork today. She used the dogs paws in her Painting. I think it came out really nice. 

Some of the paint got on the deck.... but I’m sure it will come out. 

For now we have cute dog prints on the deck. 

We also had a bees nest in the camper. I think because we aren’t using it the bees decided they could make themselves at home.  Thankfully al was able to get rid of it. 

In other news another black man was killed tonight. This time in Atlanta. There continue to be more protests. We are waiting for changes.

Friday: TGIF

I can’t believe it’s been 90 days. 

Today was a really slow day of work. I spent some time relaxing. I purchased a new hammock so it was fun to test that out. 

Siobhan hung our in the one next to me. 

We got an update about Wyatt today. Sounds like he’s doing really well! So far there are no positive cases where he is so that’s amazing. 

This evening we took a walk to get some ice cream. It’s nice to see places starting to open back up. It makes me cautiously optimistic. 

Overall it was a pretty good day 

Social distancing ... day 82

Thursday 

Today was, again, a really busy day at work. Trying to wrap up meetings and also get services together for a few students in crisis.  

Aisling took a break from her work today to attempt the Pringle’s challenge. 

... she did not get it. 

We ordered delicious take out from our local sandwich shop. I finally had a chai latte! I’ve been dying for one for months! 

Siobhan washes the dogs today? Totally by herself! I’m pretty impressed with that kid. 

 We are going to march tomorrow. I’m a little worried about the pandemic but I’m hoping we’ll be able to make it work. I don’t think I can just ignore this. 

We also took a walk tonight. It was a lovely night.
